FAQs

We know that cost is an important factor when selecting a therapist. However, how much are you willing to invest in yourself?

We take many of the major insurance carriers including Tricare East (Humana Military), Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, Optum, UMR and United Healthcare. We will verify your benefits prior to your first session; however, it is highly recommended that you also call to verify your mental health benefits. Any and all fees collected are an estimate until billing is returned from the insurance company which can take 2-6 weeks.

What is the No Surprises Act?

As of January 1, 2022 the No Surprises Act requires healthcare providers to provide additional information on costs of services for self-pay clients and those choosing not to use their insurance benefits. Our disclosure form can be found here.

What is your cancellation policy?

When a cancellation is less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time a fee of $99 will be assessed. This may be waived if the cancellation occurs due to an emergency which is at the discretion of the therapist.

Do you work with clients of all backgrounds and ages?

Yes! We believe that everyone deserves access to amazing mental health care. We aim to meet client’s where they are at, even if they aren’t sure where that is. We are LGBTQIA+ allies! Want to know more about us? Check out our team!

Are there any types of treatment you don’t do?

We don’t provide any groups at this time, nor do we do court ordered treatment (like anger management).
